Where to put the whites from the egg? I think this question asked a lot. They are my most often when I'm doing homemade ice cream or bake cakes, and some types of biscuits.
Recently I baked a delicious cake . In biscuit dough embarks whole eggs, but for gentle cream needed alone yolks - 5 pieces. Accordingly, the same amount of protein I have left.
I used to always baked meringue of them. Wonderful cakes, but too sweet for me. Last time I made them, reducing the rate of sugar - only 0.5 Art. 4 protein and 0.5 st. powdered sugar. But given the large case, the new cake, more necessary in a dessert of the same plan was not.
In this topic I want to share a recipe for potato casseroles and talk about other ways to use the remaining proteins.

Ingredients:

1. Potatoes - 4 pieces (medium).
2. Egg whites - 5 pieces.
3. Onions - 2 pieces (small).
4. Milk - 1 cup.
5. Green - 0.5 beam (parsley and dill).
6. spices (coriander, pepper mixture).
7. Salt to taste.
8. Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp

Preparation:

Lubricate the form, put chopped boiled potatoes (diced or freeform).
Chop the onion, put on the potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and spices.
In my opinion, in dishes with no meat or fish, is even more important to choose the right spices. For this casserole I decided to use a mixture of coriander and pepper - black, green and red.
Greens wash, chop the onion and priporoshit it.
To pour the milk egg whites.
A little beat up, adding a pinch of salt.
Pour the contents of the form of protein-milk mixture.
Send in the oven for half an hour, holding temperature of 200 degrees.
In principle, similar casserole I make quite often when remains boiled potatoes. But always use this number 2-3 whole eggs. To my surprise, only protein I liked.
Other uses for the extra proteins:
1. If you want to still make something sweet, offer wonderful coffee and cheesecake mousse !
2. Bake coconut cookies. Beat 3 egg whites in a solid foam, gradually adding 1 tbsp. powdered sugar. 250 g coconut (you can take the color) is connected to 2 tablespoons sifted flour. Carefully add the weight of proteins (in stages). Stir gently and put on parchment paper (as well as meringue). Bake for about 15 minutes at a temperature of not more than 150'C.
3. You can make a conditioner for hair (designed for the normal type and polishing). 2-3 protein shake up with 100 ml of broth pharmacy chamomile (calendula), add 5 drops of aloe juice.
4. Whitening skin facial mask (it also eliminates shine): 1 protein shake up to 1 tsp lemon juice and apply a uniform layer of 15 minutes. Wash off with water at room temperature.
5. On the eve of the Resurrection actual decoupage Easter eggs using raw egg whites.
